Disappointed, yet not wanting to burden him further, she agrees to spend the day in his hospital room, turning it into a makeshift date. As they spend time together, they engage in heartfelt conversations, reminisce about cherished memories, and try to pass the time with laughter and joy. Yet, the mood takes a somber turn when subtle signs of his illness start to manifest, revealing that he has relapsed. Nadine's joy quickly transforms into concern and fear for her beloved partner's well-being. She comes face to face with the harsh reality that he is not going to leave the hospital anytime soon, and the future is uncertain.
