"Alchemy of Solitude" "Alchemy of Solitude"

"Alchemy of Solitude"

In an alternative reality: Activists turned Assassins try to end a race war but are forced to choose between honoring their ancestors or losing themselves.

Everything is on the line and everyone's out of time.

----

With the plague of unrest that has been erupting in the world today, this story grants us an "alternative reality". One where we explore the plight of radical change through the lens of a fictional organization called, "Paradigm"; whose mission is to eradicate supremacist organizations to bring about change by any means necessary.

This ensemble crime action drama takes a sharp turn when an assassination against the biggest supremacist organization is botched; setting off a chain of events that force them into a fight for their lives. How far will you go for radical change?

"Alchemy of Solitude" is a film that delves into the autopsy of an activist and the soul of war and its emotional traumas and truths that must be constantly navigated.

Producer Jill Bennett presents a taut and timely psychological thriller that Lisa Rose of Queer Screen says is "unlike anything else [she's] seen in years."

Digital artist Lex Carre (Lauren Neal) documents her struggle with anxiety through work that she posts anonymously online. Her pieces capture the attention of cunning curator Andrea Caulfield (Erin Matthews), who offers mentorship in exchange for control of Lex’s career.

When Lex’s mental health starts to spiral from the pressure, Andrea assumes ownership of her work—prompting Lex to plot a psychological showdown against the exploitative mentor who stole her art and nearly destroyed her mind.

This searing examination of art and identity in contemporary society also features Joy Sunday (Netflix's "Wednesday"), Pam Trotter ("Abbott Elementary"), and Emmy Award-winner Jenelle Riley.
